If you haven't yet seen Ouran and plan to, you might want to skip the description ahead. At least until you've watched the first ep.
...And last but not least, our longsuffering heroine ^^ I love so much that she's not your generic shoujo character.
Loosely speaking, Haruhi is a Heinz with a good haircut (courtesy of the Host Club, of course ). Her dad is a mostly-chocolate-lab-but-with-traces-of-setter, and her mum was a minipoodle-setter-one-of-those-longlegged-smoothcoated-terriers thing. (Poodle and terrier for smarts and determination, and setter for straight silky fur. And daddy is mostly Lab because a) the colour works, and b) he supposedly reminds her of.. well, other daddy. )
This was fun! (I think some group pictures are in order.) If anyone wants to see any of the other characters doggified (or has suggestions for breeds, that would be nice), don't hesitate to let me know xD
CHOCOLATE LAB OMG. xD I have a chocolate labby named Sophie She's fairly beastly though...hehe!
You did a really nice job with the anatomy, Swift! Mixed breeds are hard to portray in pictures (especially one like this) and yours came out so realistic! I luff this
If you'll look at my past six devs, I've been drawing them all xD And everyone should watch that anime for it is awesome.

Choclabs are manic. That's also kinda why I chose one for her dad.. if you saw him, you'd know why
Thanks, Cheesy! All your comments are much appreciated as you know I know I don't say much but I enjoy looking at all the doodles and such you've been uploading lately. Your renditionsd of the Disney characters are lovely too

Oy, she's got enough people grabbing her as it is! xDDD

[link] <-- Oh PLEASE, PLEASE watch it. (episodes are downloadable on that site, in the media section.) It's addictive as heck; at least, everyone I've recommended it to has become hooked on it and are currently running about infecting even more people xDD I recommend it to anyone who likes anime even a little! (those that aren't familiar with anime probably won't understand most of the humour ^^)
I can't comment on the similarity of Ouran to Furuba, as I haven't seen that one myself (yeah, I know.. =_=; ) But quite a lot of Furuba fans seem to like Ouran too, if that's any indication..

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
